James Lindsey Goode

James Lindsey Goode, age 72, of Red Bud Road in Lincolnton, died on Monday, February 5, 2024.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 10, 2024, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Marc Caskey officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
James was born January 13, 1952, in Lincoln County, to the late Earl Grayson Goode and Ruby Owens Goode. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Caskey Goode; son, Richard Houk; brother, Joe Goode; and sister, Sally Lackey. He served in the United States Army and later worked as a diesel mechanic.
He is survived by a daughter, Lisa Navey (Ben) of Lincolnton; brother, Bob Goode (Linda) of Cherryville; two grandchildren, Ronald Navey (Breezy) of Maiden, and Elizabeth Falvey (Brian) of Lincolnton; four great-grandchildren, Mackenzie Bivens (Timothy), Stella Navey, Grace Falvey, and Oliver Navey; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and great-nephews; and special friend, Cynthia Bryson.
