April Chanel Wellman, age 46, of Leonard’s Fork Church Road in Lincolnton, died on Sunday, February 18, 2024.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Leonard’s Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Jaie Warlick and Waverley Pierson officiating. Burial will follow in the Pleasant Grove United Methodist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 11:45 a.m. until 1:45 p.m. on Saturday at the church.
April was born April 21, 1977, in Lincoln County, to Bobby and Margaret Teague Wellman. She was preceded in death by a sister, Holly Wellman. She worked as a cosmetologist.
She is survived by her sons, Lucas Howell and Bo Rippy; parents, Bobby and Margaret Wellman; and brother, Kyle Kale.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Avenue, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28207.
