Billy Ray Proctor

Billy Ray Proctor, age 84, of Goldrush Drive in Lincolnton, passed away on Monday, February 19, 2024.
A memorial service will be held at 12:15 p.m. on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at Lincoln Avenue Baptist Church with Pastor Eddie Yount officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Billy was born February 18, 1940, in Catawba County, to the late Clarence and Katie Smith Proctor. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Jean Phillips Proctor, and two sons, Roger Dale Sigmon and Randy Proctor. He worked as a service manager at Cummins Carolina of Charlotte.
He is survived by three daughters, Sherrie Brown (Kenneth), Rita Watts, and Norma Perkins, all of Lincolnton; grandchildren, Charity Williams (John), Monica Bloomer (Tim), Mandy Taylor (Brian), Krista Perkins, Ashley Perkins, and Nicole Chassereau; nine great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
