Jannett Trammell Boyles
( January 12, 1936 - March 15, 2024 )
Jannett Trammell Boyles, age 88, of Trinity Village in Hickory, and formerly of Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, March 15, 2024.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Salem Baptist Church with Pastor Shea Houser officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Boyles was born January 12, 1936, in Haywood County, to the late Dodge Trammell and Selma Duncan Trammell. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband William Joel Boyles; granddaughter, Jannett Strange; brothers, James Wesley Trammell and Robert Trammell; and sisters, Bobbie Lane, Virginia Bridges, Doris Boyles, and Evelyn Trammell. She worked for Heafner Tire, Inc., and was an over-the-road truck driver for W&L Motor Lines.
She is survived by a son, Tony Boyles (Angela) of Lincolnton; daughter, Kay Boyles of Lincolnton; three sisters, Irene Calloway of Lincolnton, Florence Neal of High Shoals, and Carolyn Schronce (Glenn) of Hays, NC; three grandchildren, Shannon Boyles, Kacey Danielle Turner, and Whittney Nicole Gilbo, all of Lincolnton; and seven great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Savannah, Skyler, Dodge, Sadie, Korin, and Lacie.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Village, 1265 21st Street, NE, Hickory, NC 28601.
