Laura Louise Rhodes Church

Laura Louise Rhodes Church, age 85 of The Greens at Lincolnton, died on Tuesday, April 2, 2024.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 6, 2024, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Jeff Rhodes and Rev. Ron Johnson officiating. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. on Saturday at the funeral home. At all other times the family will be at the home of her daughter Lori Helms at 173 Tripple H Lane in Lincolnton.
Mrs. Church was born June 1, 1938, in Gaston County, to the late John E. Rhodes, Sr. and Mary Hull Rhodes. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Charlie M. Church; grandson Matthew Correll; brother Ralph Rhodes; and sister Jane Cosby. She worked in furniture manufacturing.
She is survived by a son, Jerry Church (Jolene) of Tega Cay, SC; daughters, Lori Ann Helms (Fred) and Sandra Correll, all of Lincolnton; brother, Johnny Rhodes, Jr. (Kathy) of Lincolnton; sister, Fran Keever (Ken) of Lincolnton; and grandson, Jeremiah Helms.
