Rebecca Ann Branch Brown

Rebecca Ann Branch Brown, age 78, of Lincolnton, passed away on Tuesday, April 16, 2024.
A graveside service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 20, 2024, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Luther “Luke” Barker and Pastor Matthew Jones officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. prior to the service on Saturday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Rebecca was born May 7, 1945, in Petersburg, Virginia, to the late Henry Thomas Branch and Irene Coleman Branch. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 39 years, Eugene Cleo Brown; son, Dwain Thomas Devor; and grandson, Blake Leonti. She was an over-the-road team truck driver with Eugene for more than 20 years. She was devoted to her family.
Surviving her are two daughters, Tamantha Devor of Lincolnton, and Angela Leonti of Sanford; sons, James Leonti, Jr. of Durham, and Howard Leonti and wife Diana of Newton; sisters, Sylvia Devor of Norfolk, VA, and Carol Wade of Apex; grandchildren, Johnathan Thomas DeVor and wife Kristie, Tamatha Sain, Holly Leonti, Connor Leonti, and Corey Leonti; great-grandson, Liam Thomas Devor; and a number of nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
