Otha "Butch" Harold Lynch

Otha “Butch” Harold Lynch, age 80 of Plateau Road in Vale, died on Thursday, April 18, 2024.
A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, April 22, 2024, in the McKendree Methodist Church cemetery with Rev. Greg Richard officiating. The family will receive friends following the graveside service.
“Butch” was born November 17, 1943, in Lincoln County, to the late Henry Gordon Lynch and Mollie Lodelia Wood Lynch. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Setzer Lynch, and brothers and sisters, Boyd Lynch, Lloyd Lynch, Emma Lou Rudisill, Leland Lynch, Allen Lynch, and Margaret Allene Khun. He worked as a manager for Lee Industries for 25 years and was involved in CB radio and his call name was Wallbanger. He was a member of McKendree Methodist Church.
He is survived by his son, Jeff Lynch and his husband Eric of Vale, and Brent Lynch; dear friend, Vicki Hovis of Lincolnton; and dear companion, Casper.
