Karen Christine Foster Brooks

Karen Christine Foster Brooks, age 71, of Thunder Road in Dallas, passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Hardin Community Baptist Church with Pastor Justin Driver officiating. Burial will follow in Hardin Community Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. on Saturday prior to the service at the church.
Karen was born June 14, 1952, in Surrey, England, to the late Clayton Paul Foster, II and Joyce Bray Foster Sheppard. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by brothers, Clayton Paul Foster, III, Derik John Foster; and sister in law, Paulette Simmons.
She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Steven Roland Brooks of the home; sisters-in-law, Sandra Foster, Renee Branch and Ann Hunnicutt; nieces, Fawn Michele Foster, Treasure Foster Stewart, Lauren Foster, Bobbye Foster, and Cindy Bolick; nephews, Dr. Johnny White, William Baldwin, Robert Baldwin and David Baldwin.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Hardin Community Baptist Church Youth Group, 548 Hardin Road, Dallas, NC 28034.
