Mary Wood Powell age 69, of Highway 27 in Vale passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024
Her funeral will be held 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 22, 2024 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:45 pm on Wednesday, prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Powell was born December 27, 1954 in Henderson County, daughter of the late Thurman Lee and Lougenia Lowery Wood. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a son, Kevin Wade Powell. Mrs. Powell was a property manager.
Survivors include her husband, Jimmy Powell of the home; one son, Michael Powell and wife Carol of Lawndale; one brother, Wayne Wood of Hickory; grandchildren, Hunter Kevin Powell, David, Jacob, Jasmine, Logan, Mikayla and Jordan Powell.
