Elizabeth Drucilla Ross Caskey, age 86, of Highway 150 in Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, May 17, 2024.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at Woodside Episcopal Church of our Saviour on Highway 182 in Lincolnton, with Reed Conley officiating.
Ms. Caskey was born on March 14, 1938, in Lincoln County, daughter of the late Lester Crowell (Doc) Ross and Mary Lou Houser Ross. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, Michael David Caskey; sisters, Mary Katherine Ross Dellinger, Lucy Regina Ross Beam; and brother, Silas Webb Ross. Ms. Caskey was a retired seamstress.
Survivors include her daughter, Susan Caskey Carpenter of the home; one brother, James Keith Ross and wife Evelyn Fox Ross; grandchildren, Jason Michael Hartzoge (Brandi Smith) and Kyle David Carpenter; step-grandchildren, Anna Kester Gilliland and Matthew Kester (Cindy); great-grandchildren, Madison Smith and Caroline Blalock Hill (Christian); great-great-grandchildren, Tyson Bishop, Avery Hill, Olivia Brannon, and Lucas Kester; and nieces and nephews, Lisa Beam, Judy Armstrong (Steve), Johnny Jenkins (Cindy), Bryan Ross (Donna), Scott Ross (Ginger), Silas “Buck” Ross (Dana), and David Beam.
