Janice Elizabeth Parker
( February 23, 1956 - May 19, 2024 )
Janice Elizabeth Parker passed away on May 19, 2024 at Catawba Valley Medical Center following a long illness. Janice is preceded in death by her parents John and Margaret Parker, and her sister-in-law Amber Parker.
Janice Elizabeth Parker was born on February 23, 1956, in Morganton, North Carolina. Janice graduated from Maiden high school and attended Piedmont Bible College.
She was a member and Sunday School teacher at New Life Baptist Church in Lincolnton for almost 15 years. More recently she was a member of Vertical Life of Newton.
Janice was a dedicated employee at Ethan Allen in Maiden, NC for over 20 years and worked at Walmart in Cherryville, NC for over 10 years.
She is survived by her siblings; Randy and Doreen Caudill of Morganton NC, Debbie and Randy Prahl of Wisconsin, Ronnie and Lisa Parker of Newton, Lisa and Ryan Moore of Newton and James and Julie Parker of Newton NC. Janice is also survived by 10 nieces, 3 nephews and 16 great nieces and nephews.
Family, friends and others are invited to Warlick Funeral Home located at 125 Dave Warlick Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092 at 3 PM on Wednesday, May 22nd for receiving of friends with the funeral following at 4 PM. Funeral will be led by Jonathan Foster, Pastor of Vertical Life of Newton NC.
Our family would like to thank all the nurses, CNAs and staff that cared for Janice at The Greens at Hickory located on Tate Blvd. SE, Hickory NC, and Valley Nursing Home located in Taylorsville NC. Also, we would like to thank Catawba Valley Medical Center and all the nurses and staff who cared for Janice during her stay.
Janice Elizabeth Parker loved her family and will be missed.
