Travis Robert Raye, age 46, of Lincolnton, died suddenly on Saturday, May 18, 2024.
His funeral service will be held at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 25, 2024, at University City United Methodist Church, 3835 West W.T. Harris Blvd. in Charlotte. Visitation will be from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m. on Saturday at the church.
Travis was born in Madison, Wisconsin and great up in East Aurora, New York. After high school, he enlisted in the Marine Corps where he proudly served both overseas and domestically. He was the owner of The Awning Team located in Denver, North Carolina.
He is survived by his wife Chere Raye, and his daughters Cameron Raye and Brinley Raye; parents Marie Mosley and Ted Mosley; father Robert Raye (Molly); mother and father-in-law Rick and Debbie Smith; brother Shane Raye (Amy) of Wisconsin; sisters Danielle Drosendahl (Allan) of New York, Melanie Kuppel (Eric) of North Carolina, Misty Bartlett of Arkansas, and Leslie Wiggins (Joey) of Arkansas; sister-in-law Summer Thornton (Willie); brother-in-law Chanon Smith (Kelly); eight nieces and five nephews.
