David Lee Martin

David Lee Martin, age 76, of Fancy Hill Road in Dallas, passed away on Wednesday, May 22, 2024.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2024, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mark Hovis and Rev. Fain Farmer officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
David was born August 23, 1947, in Catawba County, to the late Guy Clayton Martin and Bertha McGrady Martin. He served in the United States Navy. David retired from Duke Power after 22 years of service as an engineer, and worked overseas as a contractor for 25 years.
He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth “Beth” Lineberger Martin of the home; daughter, Michelle Maloy (Ken) of Stanley; sons, David Martin (Mandy) of Gastonia, and Clayton Martin (Jacqueline) of Indian Land; grandchildren, Anna Gilleland, Matthew Kester (Cynthia), Sam Martin, Tate Kaylor, Landon Martin, McGuire Martin, Ellington Martin, and Olivia Patrick; and great-grandchildren, Olivia Brannon, Brynn Kaylor, and Lucas Kester.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gaston Hospice, 258 E. Garrison Blvd., Gastonia, NC 28054.
