Fred Lee Pitman

Fred Lee Pitman, age 78, of Sain Road, Lincolnton passed away on Saturday, May 25, 2024.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 28, 2024 at Leonard’s Fork Baptist Church with Rev. Jaie Warlick officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Tuesday prior to the service at Leonard’s Fork Baptist Church.
Mr. Pitman was born on June17, 1945 and was the son of the late Earl and Pauline Snyder Pitman. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Lottie Morgan Pitman.He was also preceded in death by a sister, Juanita Miller and grandson, Grant A. Pitman. Mr. Pitman was the former owner of Pitman Knits.
He is survived by his children, Darlene and Rickie Cook of Lincolnton, Fred and Teresa Pitman of Vale, Bonnie Harris of Lincolnton, Mack Pitman of Lincolnton and Terri and Scott Strickland of Dallas, NC; one brother, Earl “Dean” Pitman, Jr. and wife, Sherry of Lincolnton; two sisters, Belle Beheler of Dallas, NC and Edna Mills and husband Buddy of Belmont; eleven grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
