Robert Paul Douglas, age 43, of Beam Lumber Road in Vale, died on Wednesday, May 29, 2024.
A Celebration of Life service will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, at Community Grove Church with Rev. Paul Chambers officiating. The church is located at 4321 Reepsville Road in Vale.
Robert was born October 1, 1980, in Catawba County, to Robert Joseph Douglas and Patricia Lusk Douglas. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Joe Douglas; and maternal grandmother, Faye Lusk. Robert worked as an arborist.
He is survived by his wife, Windy Jenkins Douglas; daughters, Madison Douglas and Mackenzie Douglas of the home; son, Logan Douglas of Lincolnton; mother, Patricia Douglas of the home; father, Robert Douglas (Rozzelle) of Union Grove, NC; paternal grandmother, Peggy Douglas of Stony Point; and brothers, Larry Lusk of Lincolnton, Jeffrey Douglas (Misty) of Cherryville, and Michael Douglas of Vale.
Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105-1942.
