Gertrude Sigmon

Gertrude “Mickey” Meek Sigmon, age 95 of Lincolnton passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
There will be a private graveside service held for Mrs. Sigmon.
Mrs. Sigmon was born on August 8, 1928. She was preceded in death by her husband James Monroe Sigmon, and her son Ronald Andrew Sigmon. She was a Registered Nurse.
Mrs. Sigmon is survived by her three children, Jamie Sigmon Murdock of Monroe, Karen Sigmon Hines (Greg) of Lincolnton and Jeff Sigmon of Lincolnton; six grandchildren, Justin Murdock (Ashley), Alexander Murdock, Ryan Murdock (Megan), Drew Keener, Abbey Keener ( Roman Safiullin) and Aaron Hines (Erin); five great-grandchildren, Lizzy, Stella, Liam, Lyza Kate and Claire.
The family will be gathered at the home of her daughter, Karen Hines, at 160 Shields Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
Memorials may be made to the Carolinas College of Health Sciences, 2110 Water Ridge Parkway, Charlotte, NC 28217.
