Linda Sue Goins Chambers, age 80, of Lincolnton, passed away on Saturday, June 1, 2024.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 5, 2024, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Troy Howard officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. at the funeral home prior to the service.
Linda was born September 25, 1945, in Lincoln County, to the late Sadie Elizabeth Goins McMurray. In addition to her mother, she was also preceded in death by her husband, James Morgan Chambers; brother, Ted Goins; and two sisters, Jane Carpenter and Patricia Carpenter.
She is survived by three daughters, Sherry Angle Brown, Teresa Davis (Randy), and Patricia Angle; grandchildren, Crystal Gerecke, Brian Schronce, Ashley Adkins, and Brittany Reinhardt; great-grandchildren, Kirsten Benge, Alexis Gerecke, Peyton Newton, Colton Adkins, and McKenzie Marlow; great-great-grandchildren, Daxton Cato and Banx Jones; and five sisters, Christine Auton, Carolyn Hefner, Helen Carpenter, Rita Powell, and Wanda Wheelehan.
