Jo Neal Kale Houser

Jo Neal Kale Houser, age 79, of Anderson Mountain Road in Maiden, passed away on Sunday, June 2, 2024.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 10, 2024, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow in the Concord Church of Catawba cemetery. The family will receive friend from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. on Monday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Jo Neal was born July 9, 1944, in Iredell County, to the late Oren Lawson Kale and Sarah Elizabeth Christenbury Kale. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd David Houser; daughter, Deborah Houser; son, Dennis Wayne Houser; and sister and brother-in-law, Ruth and Bill Crouse. She had worked for Catawba County Schools and was a member of Rhyne Heights Church.
She is survived by a brother, Roger Kale (Robin) of Burke County; sister, Evelyn Pritchard (Harold) of Hiddenite; grandson, Jeffrey Lloyd Houser; and a number of nieces and nephews.
