Ray Harold Scronce

Ray Harold Scronce, age 78, of Hoyle Farm Road in Vale, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 12, 2024, at Daniels Lutheran Church with Rev. Ralph Kraft. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Scronce was born February 9, 1947, in Cleveland County, to the late Richard and Lucille Speagle Scronce. He was a veteran of the United States Army having served during the Vietnam War. After returning from the service Mr. Scronce was employed by Carolina Freight.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Parker Scronce of the home; two sons, Timothy Scronce and wife Buffy of Vale, Jamie Scronce of the home; two brothers, Keith Scronce of Vale, Jeff Scronce of Vale; five sisters, Linda Sue Scronce of Lincolnton, Mary Ann Rogers of Murrells Inlet, SC, Sandra Wilkinson of Denver, Wanda Kay McAlister of Lincolnton, Carolyn Whitesides of Vale; four grandchildren, Josh Scronce, Nathan Scronce, Austin Sconce and Katie Walker; four great grandchildren, Cynthia Scronce, Lane Scronce, Rhett Scronce and Livia Walker.
Memorials may be made to Daniels Lutheran Church, 3170 Reepsville Rd, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
