Kenneth McAuthor Johnson

Mr. Kenneth McArthor Johnson, age 82 of Park Circle in Lincolnton, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024.
His funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 14, 2024 at Gainsville Baptist Church with Pastor Charles Holland officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 on Friday prior to the service at the church.
Mr. Johnson was born June 2, 1942, in Lincoln County to the late Zeb and Ola Poole Johnson. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Norma Patterson Johnson; six brothers, Jimmie Johnson, Robert Johnson, Charles Johnson, Morris Johnson, Thomas Johnson, Little Darlin. Mr. Johnson was a veteran of the United States Army having served during Vietnam
Survivors include one son, Jody Johnson of the home; three sisters, Louise Johnson Yandle of Lincolnton, Marie Johnson Avery of Lincolnton; Shirlene Johnson Hartis and husband Roy of Charlotte; numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Gideons International-Lincoln West Gideons, PO Box 1074, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
