Rebecca "Becky" Beam Hull
( December 28, 1931 - June 15, 2024 )
Rebecca “Becky” Beam Hull, age 92, of Tin Mine Road in Lincolnton, NC, passed away on Saturday, June 15, 2024. Mrs. Hull was born December 28, 1931, in York County, SC, daughter of the late Carl and Ila Abernethy Beam.
Becky was a professional administrative assistant for many years, having worked at Crown Converting, Gaston College, and Lincoln Center. She loved horses, Elvis, the beach, and was always an impeccable dresser. Becky was a good cook, had great work ethics, was a devoted Christian, and was a loving and caring person.
Mrs. Hull is survived by her son, Micah Hull (Anor) of Charlotte, NC; daughters, Pamela Hull Whiteaker of North Myrtle Beach, SC, and Mitzi Hull Stogner (Darryl) of Charlotte, NC; grandchildren, Tyger Whiteaker, John Whiteaker (Jamie), and Angela Hull Merritt; and five great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hull was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hull; brothers, Oren Beam, Lester Beam, and Robert Beam; and sisters, Marjorie Carpenter and Willie Helms.
A funeral service for Mrs. Hull will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, June 21, 2024, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor John Whiteaker officiating. Interment will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery of Lincolnton, NC. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. on Friday at Warlick Funeral Home prior to the service.
Being that Mrs. Hull was a 13 year breast cancer survivor, the family requests that memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1901 Brunswick Avenue, Suite 100, Charlotte, NC 28207.
