Rebecca Joy Craig Byrd

Rebecca Joy Craig Byrd, age 92, of Shady Lane in Lincolnton, died on Monday, June 17, 2024.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Thursday, June 20, 2024, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Pastor Bill Bigham officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
Mrs. Byrd was born September 19, 1931, in Gaston County, to the late Inzie Eugene Craig and Essie Rae Clemmer Craig. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, L. G. “Bobby” Byrd; daughter, Pamela Reeves; two sisters; and five brothers.
She is survived by two daughters, Diane Nale of Lincolnton, and Amy Reinhardt (Joby) of Hickory; seven grandchildren, David Allen Reeves, Jr., Brian Byrd Reeves, Michael Nale (Jada), Wesley Nale (Molly), Elizabeth Deal (Jeff), April Reinhardt, and Parker Reinhardt; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews; and lifelong friend, Evelyn.
Memorials may be made to Boger City Baptist Church, 2201 E. Main Street, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
