Joyce Ann Nesbit Corter

Joyce Ann Nesbit Corter, age 80, of Old Lincolnton Road in Crouse, passed away on Friday, June 21, 2024.
Mrs. Corter was born February 7, 1944, in Mecklenburg County to the late Kenneth and Clara Elizabeth Wilson Nesbit. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by three brothers, Gerald Nesbit, Edward Nesbit and James Malone.
She is survived by four daughters, Karen Stevenson of Iron Station, Karmon Ling of Crouse, Kelly Marthers and husband David of Iron Station and Kassie Corter of Lincolnton; one sister, Mary Lynn Norment of Raleigh, NC; her partner for over 30 years, Michael Southern of Mooresville; eight grandchildren, Robert Forehand, Loyd Stevenson, Elizabeth Lovelace, Ronnie Ling, Jessica Rodriguez, David Keith Marthers, Sonny Marthers, Sarah Marthers; fourteen great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 29, 2024, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. on Saturday prior to the service at Warlick Funeral Home.
