Noah Carse Huss, Jr.
( April 13, 1941 - July 26, 2024 )
Noah Carse (N.C) Huss, Jr. was born April 13, 1941 in Lincoln County to the late Sarah & Noah Huss. He departed this earth on July 26, 2024 due to complications related to a recent cancer diagnosis.
N.C is survived by his wife of 62 years, Phyllis Goodson Huss. Together they had 2 children, son David Huss (wife Vonda) and son Brad Huss (wife Jill). Grandchildren Mason (wife Mary Katherine), Parker, Mia and Ana.
N.C is survived by one brother Edwin Huss (wife Ginger). He is preceded by brothers Roger Huss, Donald Huss, Johnny Huss, Boyce Huss, Harry Huss and Bennett Reep. He is also preceded by sisters Thelma Hoyle, Mabel Greene, Marie Sigmon, Blanche Black and Christine Dixon.
The family would like to thank the many friends, family and neighbors who have been supportive of N.C. and stopped by to spend time with him during his brief illness.
The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to First Baptist Church (201 Robin Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092 or https://fbclincolnton.org/give/ ) and Hospice of Lincoln County (7845 Little Ave., Charlotte, NC 28226 https://hospiceoflincolncounty.org/ ).
N.C spent most of his life working in some line of sales and with his son landscaping. Honest, hardworking, industrious and willing to help someone in need are a few of the traits he held high. But he might be most remembered for and proud of his rocky garden where he grew a wide variety of vegetables to share with neighbors and friends.

A celebration of N.C’s life will be held at 3 pm Wednesday, July 31, 2024, at Warlick Funeral Home (125 Dave Warlick Drive, Lincolnton, NC 28092). The family will receive friends starting at 1:30 pm.
