Loy Kenneth Huss

Loy Kenneth Huss, age 93, of Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, August 2, 2024.
His funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2024, at Victory Grove Baptist Church with Rev. Clay Ledford, Rev. David Jarrell, and Rev. Larry Combs officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:45 p.m. on Monday at the church.
Mr. Huss was born June 15, 1931, in Lincoln County, to the late Noah Henry Huss and Flossie Weaver Huss. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Doris Peeler. Loy served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. He worked as a farmer and in manufacturing.
He is survived by his wife, Lois Rash Huss; three sons, Doug Huss (Deborah), Ken Huss (Angela), and Steve Huss (Michelle); two sisters, Evelyn Perkins and Lib Plemmons; brother-in-law, Tommy Peeler; twelve grandchildren, Matthew (Krista), Kimberly (Devon), Beth (Andy), Evan, Katie, Cody, Kelly, Jake, Carly, Stephen (Savanna), Quentin, and Justin; seven great-grandchildren, Wade, Wyatt, Bella, Jude, Silas, Andy, and Ellie; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to Victory Grove Baptist Church, Building Fund, 457 Victory Grove Church Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
