Harold John Huffstetler

Harold John Huffstetler, age 92, of Peak Resources in Cherryville, North Carolina, and formerly of Gaston-Webbs Chapel Road in Lincolnton, North Carolina, passed away Monday, November 25, 2024. Mr. Huffstetler was born March 17, 1932, in Gaston County, North Carolina, son of the late John J. and Bertha Ramsey Huffstetler. He was passionate about farming and baseball. After 33 years as a truck driver, Mr. Huffstetler retired from Burlington Industries (B.I. Transportation) out of Belmont, NC.
Mr. Huffstetler is survived by his son, Harold Dean Huffstetler and family of Lincolnton, NC; daughter, Elaine H. Hull (Ronnie) of Lincolnton, NC; grandson, D. Dean Huffstetler (April) of Lincolnton, NC; great-granddaughter, Morgan Huffstetler Leonard (Cole) of Cherryville, NC; and brother, Johnny Huffstetler of Lincolnton, NC.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Huffstetler was preceded in death by his wife of 63 years, Betty Jean Harrelson Huffstetler; brother, Floyd Huffstetler; sisters, Ruth Beam and Mozelle Mace.
A funeral service for Mr. Huffstetler will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, November 29, 2024, at Webbs Chapel Baptist Church of Lincolnton, NC, with Pastor David McDaniel officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. Friday at the church prior to the service.
