Myrtle Whitesides Ingle, age 85, of Gold Hill, North Carolina, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2024.
Her funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 4, 2024 in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Gary Posey officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 12:45 p.m. on Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will take place on Thursday, December 5, 2024 at the Veterans Cemetery in Salisbury, North Carolina.
Myrtle was born November 26, 1939 in Rowan County to the late Pinkney Caldwell and Della Mae Lanier Whitesides. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Monroe Ingle, and multiple brothers and sisters.. She worked at Walmart as a stocker.
Survivors include her brother, Carl Whitesides of Gold Hill, North Carolina; and several nieces and nephews.
