Connie Perkins Ficca, age 78, of Leesburg, Florida, passed away on Sunday, December 1, 2024.
Connie was born September 11, 1946, in Tampa, Florida, to the late Melvin Alexander Perkins and Geraldine Wester Perkins. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Ficca, and a son, Ray Ficca.
She is survived by four sons, Melvin Ficca (Kim) of Leesburg, FL, Jerry Ficca, Jr. (Cindy) of Spring Hill, FL, Christopher Hayes (Michelle) of Virginia, and James Hayes of Lincoln; daughters, Lawanna Ficca of Tampa, FL, and Cherie Kromschroeder (Scott) of Valdosta, GA; brother, Melvin A. Perkins of Crystal River, FL; sister, Debra Cathcart of Lincolnton, NC; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service and burial will take place in Florida.
