Jacque was born on January 8, 1952, in Greenville, SC to Jack and Phyllis Jo Wooten. She is survived by her husband Lawrence Weaver, her sister Claire Joe Cummins and her husband Robert, her brother Russell Wooten, her sister-in-law Joyce Weaver, her son Matt Weaver and his wife Holly, her son Jeff Weaver and his wife Jackie, and her daughter Ashlyn Sigmon and her husband Jason; and her seven grandchildren Ava, Jake and Maddie Weaver, Lawson and Evie Weaver, and Linville and Cal Sigmon.

In the Summer of 1966, she met the love of her life, Larry, and married in 1971 sharing 53 years together. After graduating from Greenville High School in 1969, Jacque went on to study early childhood education at Clemson University and graduated from Gardner Webb University.

When she became a grandmother her heart overflowed with joy and she poured endless love and support into her family, becoming a beloved figure to all. Adored by her grandkids and all who knew her, she was cherished as “Nona”, a title she wore with pride and grace.

At her core she had a fierce love and compassion that stemmed from an unwavering Christian faith. In her daily walk, she exuded the love, care, and compassion of Christ. Her faith could move mountains and the only thing stronger than her love was her prayers.
