Earlynne Jean Bartley
( June 1, 1963 - December 1, 2024 )
Rev. Earlynne Jean Bartley, 61, of Gastonia, NC, passed away on 01 Dec 2024, surrounded by loving family.
Earlynne was born 01 Jun 1963, in Galax, VA the daughter of Earlie Franklin Goad Sr. & Carol Rae Mahaffey.
Earlynne graduated from W.B. Stebbins High School in 1981, then went on to Sinclair Community College and later to Gardner Webb, earning an Associates then Bachelors in Nursing. Later returning to Duke University, earning a Master’s in Divinity.
Earlynne worked as an ICU and PACU nurse at various hospitals in Ohio. She later served the United Methodist Church with various appointments, later becoming a Chaplain for Lincoln Hospice & Palliative Care. Her last position was Hospital Chaplain for Atrium Lincoln
Earlynne especially loved spending time with her animals and family.
Remaining to cherish Earlynne’s memory are her son, Chandler Bartley; and her grand-dog, T’alia; along with all of the extraordinary people in her life.
Preceding Earlynne in death are parents, Earlie Franklin Goad, Sr. & Carol Rae Goad.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, 07 Dec 2024 at 10:30am at Warlick Funeral Home in Lincolnton with Rev. Sally Queen officiating.
