Katherine LaJean Philbeck Reinhardt, age 68, of Cat Square Road in Vale, died on Tuesday, December 17, 2024.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2024, at Open Word Holiness Church with Rev. Matthew Sparks, Rev. Coye Sanders and Lynda Sanders officiating. Burial will follow in Hollybrook Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Friday, December 20, 2024, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Katherine was born July 16, 1956, in Cleveland County, to the late Johnny McKinley Philbeck and Hittie Pauline Philbeck. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, Albert Dean Cook; sisters, Laurine Ellis, Shirley Philbeck, and Brenda Bridges; and brothers, J.D. Philbeck and Buren Philbeck. She worked in home health. She was an avid member of her church where she played multiple instruments and also sang.
She is survived by her husband, James Reinhardt of the home; daughters, Melissa Langley (Archie) and Trina Thomas (Neely); and five grandchildren, Kaleb Thomas, Trinly Thomas, Ethan Thomas, Kinsley Thomas, and Alexis Langley.
