Mary Madagline Mason Watkins, age 85, of Lincolnton, passed away on Wednesday, December 18, 2024.
A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday, December 22, 2024, in Forest Lawn Cemetery with Chaplain Cynthia Jordan officiating.
Mary was born November 21, 1939, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Howard Milton Mason and Helen Isabelle Tomberline Mason. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Alvin Taylor Watkins. She worked for Firestone Bridgestone.
She is survived by a son, Jeffery Howard Watkins (Christina) of Kings Mountain; three daughters, Terri Lynn Strickland (Steven) of Cherryville, and Lawanda Lorraine Sandi (Victor) and Christy Michelle Watkins Drum (Frank), all of Lincolnton; brother, Ernest Mason of Gastonia; sister, Joyce Fraley of Cherryville; seven grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
