Donna Denise Wilson Cook, age 64, of Pinewood Drive in Lincolnton, North Carolina, passed away Tuesday, December 24, 2024. Mrs. Cook was born November 11, 1960, in Mitchell County, North Carolina, daughter of the late Billy Dewayne and Eva Mae Lloyd Wilson.
Mrs. Cook is survived by her husband, G. Bryon Cook of the home; son, Gerald Wyatt Cook (McKenzie) of Lincolnton, NC; daughters, Savannah C. Hall (Adam) of Crouse, NC, and Shelbey C. Devine (Christopher) of Lincolnton, NC; and brothers, Daniel Wilson, David Ray Wilson, and Dustin Wilson; sister, Destiny Wilson. Mrs. Cook was a very loving wife, mother, and Mimi to five special grandchildren, Easton, Adalynn, Henry, Franklin, and Dean.
A funeral service for Mrs. Cook will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, December 28, 2024, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Richard Jenkins officiating. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home prior to the service. Interment will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025, in Forest Lawn Cemetery of Lincolnton, NC.
