Betty Jean Lynn, age 92, passed away on December 28, 2024.
Betty was born on August 6, 1932 to the late Bert Lynn and Kimmie Randall Lynn. She worked in textiles and home sat with seniors. Betty was a lady in everything she did in life and loved until the end.
She was preceded in death by the father of her children, Robert “Cottontop” Brown, her daughter, Robin Brown, her granddaughter, Betsy Icard, her brothers, Carl, Ray, Amzi and Max Lynn, her sisters, Alice Baker, Bonnie Taylor, Louise Garrison, Edith Sneed and Prue Lynn.
Betty is survived by her son and caregiver, Bradley Brown of Lincolnton, her great-granddaughter, Jaylee Fredell, one grandson, two great-grandsons and numerous nephews and nieces.
Then family will receive friends on Thursday, January 2, 2025 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. at Warlick Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
