Todd Kerwin Laney

Todd Kerwin Laney, age 63, of Grace Street in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, passed away Monday, December 24, 2024. Mr. Laney was born August 16, 1961, in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina, son of the late Glenn Lee and Elsie Schrum Laney.
Todd was a graduate of West Mecklenburg High School’s class of 1979. In 1995 he graduated with a bachelor’s degree from Belmont Abbey College. Todd proudly served in the United States Air Force and was stationed in Germany during the Cold War.
Mr. Laney is survived by his daughter, Ashton Laney of Charlotte, NC.
A memorial service for Mr. Laney will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 4, 2025, at Mulberry Baptist Church, 6450 Tuckaseegee Road, Charlotte, NC. The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
