Robert Anthony Helmrich, age 75, of Woodcrest Drive in Stanley, North Carolina, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2025. Mr. Helmrich was born August 28, 1949, in New York City, New York, son of the late Arthur J. Helmrich and Fay G. Anthony Helmrich Gorman.
Mr. Helmrich is survived by his wife, Freida Jo-Ann Helmrich of the home; brother, Thomas Helmrich of Minnesota; stepsister, Annie Chesler of Connecticut; sister-in-law, Patricia Ann Sanders (Ralph) of Raleigh, NC; brother-in-law, Walden P. Lisle, Jr. of Stanley, NC; and nephews, Jeffrey David Sanders (Terra) of Stanley, NC, Benjamin Lee Sanders (Lisa) of Raleigh, NC, Travis Wayne Sanders (Amanda) of Raleigh, NC, Justin Palmer Lisle of Stanley, NC, and Jonathan Bradley Lisle of Charleston, SC.
A graveside service for Mr. Helmrich will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 8, 2025, in Hollybrook Cemetery of Lincolnton, NC, with Father Ron Taylor and Tara Bartal officiating. The family will receive friends Wednesday following the graveside service.
