Betty Ruth Biggerstaff Howell

Betty Ruth Biggerstaff Howell, age 89, of Lincolnton, passed away on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.
Her graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 13, 2025, in Hollybrook Cemetery with Mr. Billy Howell officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 p.m. on Monday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Betty was born January 14, 1935, in Lincoln County, to the late Joseph Loyd Biggerstaff, Jr. and Carrie Ledford Biggerstaff. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Gene Howell, Sr., and sisters, Clara Sue Biggerstaff and Louise Lackey. She retired from pharmaceutical manufacturing.
She is survived by her son, Billy Howell (Carole) of Lincolnton; daughter, Holly Howell McGinnis (Greg) of Lincolnton; and grandchildren, William Howell and Hannah Keister (Darren); step-grandchildren, Devin Donnelly (Justine) and Matthew Donnelly; and four great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to Save-a-Life Group, 1717 Sneed Road, Shelby, NC 28150.
