Wilma Schronce Stamey

Wilma Schronce Stamey, age 92, of Lincolnton, passed away on Tuesday, January 14, 2025.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, January 22, 2025, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael White and Pastor Mike Rice officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 1:45 p.m. on Wednesday at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mrs. Stamey was born January 17, 1932, in Lincoln County, to the late Russell and Mae Armstrong Schronce. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul G. Stamey. She worked as a spinner for J.P. Stevens and was a member of Gainsville Baptist Church.
She is survived by her daughters, Ann Manns, and Cindy Goodhue (Ric), all of Lincolnton; brother, Glenn Schronce (Carole) of North Wilkesboro; sister, Ruth Rhyne of Lincolnton; two grandchildren, Kellie Hawkins (Michael Barlowe) of Lincolnton, and Rici Reid (Josh) of Mount Holly; and three great-grandchildren, Teagan, Kyra, and Ida.
