Coleen Dellinger Parmer

Coleen Dellinger Parmer, age 89, of Lincolnton, passed away on Friday, January 17, 2025.
Her funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, January 24, 2025, at Salem Baptist Church with Rev. Shea Houser officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Mrs. Parmer was born March 8, 1935, to the late Archie Lee Dellinger and Ruth Stafford Dellinger. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Joe Parmer and her siblings, Gene, Fred, Etheleen, Blanch, Steve and Donna. She worked in textiles.
She is survived by her children, Robin Callaway of Shelby, Lawrence Callaway, Jr. (Debra) of Maiden, Deborah C. Alexander (Randy) of Maiden, Mark Callaway (Nui) of Florida, and Michael Parmer (Jamie Cothran) of Lincolnton; step-children, Billy Joe Parmer, Jr. (Carol) of Georgia, Wanda Cooper of Alabama, and Ronnie Parmer (Susan) of Georgia; brothers, Doug Dellinger of Iron Station, and Roy Dellinger of Lincolnton; sisters, Sue Peeler of Lincolnton, and Kay Allen (Vernon) of Charlotte; twelve grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
