Carolyn Clemmer Taylor

Carolyn Clemmer Taylor, age 95, of Stanley Total Living Center, passed away on Saturday, February 8, 2025.
Mrs. Taylor was born February 7, 1930, in Gaston County, daughter of the late Lander Lee and Nellie May Holland Clemmer. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Billy Truett Taylor; son, Ronald Taylor; brothers, Lander Clemmer and George Clemmer; sisters, Marion Harris and Peggy Wilkinson; and grandchildren, Ashley Friday Lail, and Wendy Barnes. Mrs. Taylor worked in the textile industry as an inspector.
She is survived by a daughter, Wanda Friday of Dallas; granddaughter, Jennifer Williams (Darin) of Maiden; great-grandchildren, Katelynne Haynie, Michael Moore, Asher Roseberry, and Tristan Roseberry; and brothers, Albert Clemmer and Charles Ray Clemmer.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Venture Church in Dallas. The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service.
