William Edward Byers

William Edward Byers, age 63, of Lincolnton, passed away on Thursday, February 6, 2025.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Messiah United Methodist Church with Rev. Jim Mathews officiating. Inurnment will follow in Zion Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
Will was born January 8, 1962, in Lincoln County, to the late Samuel Edgar Byers, Sr. and Sarah Inez Chapman Byers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Samuel Edgar Byers, Jr. He worked as an inspector for Timken.
Will is survived by his brother, John Byers (Patricia) of Port St. Lucie, FL; sister-in-law, Cara Byers of Crouse; six nieces, Jacey Maule, Casandra Byers, Kaitlin Walker, Jacqueline Byers, Laura Byers, and Sara Byers; and great-niece, Daisy Mae Maule.
Memorials donations may be made to the American Kidney Foundation, 11921 Rockville Pike, Suite 300, Rockville, MD 20852.
