William Lee “Junior” McKinnish, Jr., age 57, of Iron Station, passed away on Monday, February 10, 2025.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, February 15, 2025, at Community Baptist Church with Rev. Greg Hager officiating. The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. prior to the service at the church.
“Junior” was born January 1, 1968, in Gaston County, to William Lee McKinnish, Sr. and Loretta Burnette. He worked in commercial HVAC systems.
He is survived by his wife, Donna Smith McKinnish of the home; daughters, Ashley Moore (James) of Newberry, SC, and Stephanie Nichols (Christopher) of Kings Mountain; father, Lee McKinnish, Sr. of Stanley; mother, Loretta Burnette of Florida; five grandchildren, Finlay, Lula, Shepard, Cade, and Charlotte; brothers, Roger Lingerfelt of Florida, and Buster Huffstetler; and sister, Tina Staley of Illinois.
Memorials may be made to Community Baptist Church, 834 Dallas-Stanley Highway, Dallas, NC 28034.
