Kimball Abernethy Womack, age 72, of Dallas, passed away on Wednesday, February 26, 2025.
A Celebration of Life of Kim’s life will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 2, 2025, at Landers Chapel United Methodist Church with Pastor Amy Lambert officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. prior to the service. Inurnment will take place at a later date.
Mr. Womack was born April 8, 1952, in Lincoln County, to the late Howard and Frances Abernethy Womack. He served in the United States Army. Kim worked as a diesel mechanic and retired from FMC and Carolina Tractor.
He is survived by his wife, Glenda Bradley Womack of the home; son, Brian Womack of Boone; two daughters, Leanne Womack of Carolina Beach, NC, and Wendy Womack of Belmont; brother, Kevin Howard of Connelly Springs; sister, Lisa Greenway of Cherryville; and grandson, Austin Womack.
Memorials may be made to Landers Chapel United Methodist Church, 1205 Long Shoals Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
