Lee Anderson Dysart, Jr.
( January 13, 1950 - March 27, 2025 )
Lee Anderson Dysart Jr. passed away on March 27, 2025. He was born in Lincolnton on January 13, 1950 to the late Cleo Payseur Dysart Chapman and Lee Anderson Dysart Sr. His grandparents were Mr. & Mrs. Lawrence Payseur and Mr. & Mrs. Fred Dysart, both of Lincoln County. He is survived by his sister, Treva Easterling, of Fort Pierce, Florida, his brother, Eddie Dysart (Carol) of Raleigh, NC, five nieces and nephews, eight great nieces, five great nephews and many cousins.
Lee moved to Charlotte after graduating from R.J. Reynolds High School in 1968. He worked for Hormel Meat Packers, IBM, and Solectron Technology.
He bought a home in Harrisburg and remained there until his death. Lee had a great love for the game of golf and much of his free time was spent playing. He loved spending time with his friends from work, playing and spending time with his golf buddies, and spending time with neighborhood friends, including his next door neighbor and best friend, Joel Wike, and his wife, Loretta. Lee remained close to his brother and sister.
An inurnment service will occur at a later date at Pisgah Methodist Church Cemetery, 2582 Gastonia Hwy, Lincolnton, NC 28092.
Memorials can be made to the Crossnore Communities for Children, formerly the Children’s Home, at 1001 Reynolda Road, Winston-Salem, North Carolina 27104.
