Charles Thomas Johnson

Charles Thomas Johnson, age 77, of East Highway 27 in Lincolnton, North Carolina, passed away Friday, April 4, 2025. Mr. Johnson was born August 28, 1947, in Baltimore, Maryland, son of the late William Homer and Thelma Evelyn Short Johnson.
Mr. Johnson is survived by his daughter, Jennifer Ibison (Richard) of Lincolnton, NC; son, Anthony Johnson (Starr) of Lincolnton, NC; brothers, Mike Johnson (Carol) and Wayne Johnson, all of Lincolnton, NC; sisters, Sadie Cody of Lincolnton, NC, and Amy Johnson of Belmont, NC; grandchildren, Alex Johnson, Sebastian Ibison, Journie Ibison, Brooke Johnson, and Taylor Johnson; and great-grandchildren, Ezekiel and Charlie Johnson.
In addition to his parents, Mr. Johnson was preceded in death by his wife, Shelby Lackey Johnson; a sister; and three brothers.
A funeral service for Mr. Johnson will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Jeff Rhodes officiating. Interment with military honors will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Lincolnton, NC. The family will receive friends from 12:00 until 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the service.
