Lisa Gail Heavner
( September 8, 1964 - April 4, 2025 )
Lisa Gail Heavner, age 60, of Arney Street in Lincolnton, North Carolina, passed away Friday, April 4, 2025.  Lisa was born September 8, 1964, in Gaston County, North Carolina, daughter of Kenneth Wayne Heavner and Charlotte Roach Lynch.  Lisa was preceded in death by Johnny Lynch who was a part of her life and loved her dearly until his death.

Lisa was a radiant soul whose love for God, people, and life itself touched everyone around her. Her ever-present smile lit up every room, and her spirit was defined by joy, compassion, and unshakable faith. She found peace and purpose in reading her Bible, joy in coloring and puzzles, and fierce delight in her beloved Carolina Panthers — never missing a game and proudly cheering them on all year round as their most loyal fan.

Lisa loved deeply and wholeheartedly. Her devotion to her family was unwavering, and she embraced them — and even her cherished collection of stuffed animals — with warmth and tenderness. She was a true lover of life and a giver of love, embracing everyone she met with kindness, humor, and grace.

Her memory will forever be a blessing to those who knew and loved her. Her legacy is one of light, laughter, faith, and fierce love.

Lisa is survived by her mother, Charlotte R. Lynch of Lincolnton, NC; brother, Todd Heavner (Laurie) of Lincolnton, NC; sister, Tallie Stempien (Todd) of Lincolnton, NC; and nephews, Nicholas and Matthew Heavner.

A funeral service for Lisa will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, at Laboratory United Methodist Church, Lincolnton, NC, with Reverends Amy Lambert and Charlene Hutchins officiating.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 2:45 p.m. Wednesday at the church prior to the service.

Memorials may be made to the Special Olympics, 1133 19th Street NW, 12th Floor, Washington, D.C. 20036-3604.
