Roger Darrell Carpenter

Roger Darrell Carpenter, age 71, of Hopewell Church Road in Catawba, passed away on Thursday, April 3, 2025.
Roger was born June 27, 1953, in Cleveland County, to the late Kelly Hugh Carpenter and Juanita Lineberger Carpenter. He was the owner/operator of Terrell Piping and Fabrication, Inc., and a truck driver of Cargo Transportation.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie Costner Carpenter of the home; son, Jeff Carpenter (Bonnie) of Terrell; daughters, Paula Lane (Michael) of Terrell, and Kathy Marshall (Ron) of Hudson; brother, Ronnie Carpenter (Helen) of Lincolnton; sister, Janet Spears (Doug) of Lincolnton; seven grandchildren, Bridgett, Sierra, Safari, Avery, Tiffany, Tabatha, and Brittney; twelve great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.
A service of celebration will be held at 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, April 26, 2025, in the Warlick Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends from 2:00 until 3:30 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
