Luther Franklin Berryhill, Sr.
( November 2, 1941 - April 22, 2025 )
Luther Franklin Berryhill, Sr., age 83, of Wise Road in Vale, passed away on Tuesday, April 22, 2025.
His funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, April 28, 2025, at New Vision Ministries with Rev. Scott Mann, Rev. Dan Miller, and Rev. Shawn Berryhill officiating. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at Warlick Funeral Home.
Mr. Berryhill was born November 2, 1941, in Catawba County, to the late Alfred and Lilly Reep Berryhill. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Elizabeth Bridges Berryhill; granddaughter, Kasey Berryhill; grandson, Matthew Millon; three brothers; two sisters; and son-in-law, David Millon. He worked in furniture upholstery and coached church softball for many years. He was a loving grandfather and did all he could for his children and grandchildren. He loved the Lord and served Him in many ways.
He is survived by three sons, Frank Berryhill, Jr. (Tammy) of Lincolnton, Rick Berryhill (Shelia) of Vale, and Shawn Berryhill (Amanda) of Salemburg; daughter, Tamera B. Millon of Lincolnton; brother, Bill Berryhill of Lincolnton; sister, Dora B. Moose of Maiden; ten grandchildren; and thirteen great-grandchildren.
