Robert Maurice Carpenter

Robert Maurice Carpenter, age 87, of Woodmont Circle, Lincolnton passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025.
A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2025 at 1:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Lincolnton. The family will speak to friends following the service at graveside.
Mr. Carpenter was born on March 14,1938 and was the son of Robert Claude and Edith “Eula” Rathbone Carpenter. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Judy Lewis Carpenter and two brothers, Kenneth Wayne Carpenter and Albert Claude Carpenter. He was retired from Cochrane Furniture as a plant manager and was also a veteran of the United States Army.
Mr. Carpenter is survived by two sons, David Carpenter of Lincolnton and Randy Carpenter of the home; one daughter, Beth George (Dennis) of Vale; one brother, Gene Carpenter of Lincolnton and three grandchildren, Ryan Waters, Emily Peeler and Ellie George.
