Wanda Mae Ray
( July 19, 1957 - February 14, 2018 )
Wanda Mae Ray, age 60, of 105 Hillside Drive in Lincolnton, died on Wednesday, February 14, 2018.
Her funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, February 17, 2018, at Landers Chapel United Methodist Church with Rev. Gerald Ramsey officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 10:00 until 10:45 a.m. prior to the service at the church.
Ms. Ray was born July 19, 1957, in Lincoln County, to the late Howard and Merlyn Rash Ray. She worked as a unit secretary at Lincoln County Hospital and was a lifelong member of Landers Chapel United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a brother, Johnny Ray, and wife Malissa, of Lincolnton; a sister, Mary Ray of Lincolnton; aunts, uncles, cousins, and close friends; and her loving cat, Angel.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Landers Chapel United Methodist Church, 1205 Long Shoals Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092, or to the Humane Society of Lincoln County, PO Box 23, Lincolnton, NC 28093.
